P.A.C.E (Property Assessed Clean Energy) is a product of recent laws passed by the state of California and local governments to offer an alternative means to fund energy efficiency projects for both residential and commercial properties. Heliotex Systems can be funded by P.A.C.E partners such as the Hero Program and Ygrene. The benefit of utilizing this type of financing is the loan is not a personal loan, it is a loan against property equity and is repaid by the property owner as a tax assessment on the property tax bill and can be spread out over as long as 20 years.
